Worley Serves on Board of Trustees

MOUNT OLIVE – Earl W. Worley Jr. is serving his sixth year as a member of the University of Mount Olive Board of Trustees. Worley is chair of the Business Affairs Committee. The 30 member Board is charged with the oversight and governance of the College.  University of Mount Olive Trustees have the responsibility of establishing the identity of University of Mount Olive through leading, planning and interpreting.
“University of Mount Olive has been a huge part of my personal and professional success,” said Worley. “I have a lot of respect and love for the College, and I want to contribute to its future success.” Worley graduated from University of Mount Olive with his bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1986. He attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado in 1996.
Worley, a Princeton native, previously worked as the chief financial officer with KS Bank until 2010, when he became chief operating officer.  He is the current chair-elect for the Greater Smithfield-Selma Chamber of Commerce and the past president of the Johnston Community College Foundation.
Worley is married to Melissa Savage Worley and attends Princeton Baptist Church.
