Exploring the Local Food Scape: An Evening of Agriculture

MOUNT OLIVE- On Tuesday, February 24th, the University of Mount Olive (UMO) Moye Library and Wayne County Reads will present “Exploring the Local Food Scape: An Evening of Agriculture.” The event will be held at 7 PM in the Video Conference Room/Communications Building on the UMO campus.

The event coincides with the Wayne County Reads book, Animal, Vegetable, Miracle A Year of Food Life written by Barbara Kingsolver.  The event will feature speakers Dr. Sandy Maddox, director of the Lois G. Britt Agribusiness Center, and Ed Olive, assistant director.
